In March of 2022 we took possession of the keys to open our brand new flagship indoor hot tub showroom, located right in the heart of Derby!!
Having been made aware of the premises becoming available back in October of 2021, MySpa owners Andy and Laura Wroot took the opportunity to take over an existing hot tub showroom being vacated by one of our suppliers, and bring our well established range of globally recognised, multi-award winning hot tubs and swim spas to the city, wider county of Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
With help from our partners at The Garden Design Company in Leicester, a plan was created for the interior design of the new hot tub showroom. After more than two months of completely redecorating the entire building, and bringing the vision to life, the new showroom was officially opened at the beginning of May 2022 with a Prosecco and pastries open event, attended by members of the MySpa Team, existing customers, suppliers, partners and friends. On the eve of the opening our very first official, and very special MySpa Derbyshire customers ordered their brand new Sundance Spas 880 Series Optima!!
Now open and fully operational the MySpa Derby hot tub showroom has fast become our best performing store, with a full range of 11 hot tubs on display, contemporary electric slatted pergolas, Covana Automatic Covers and even an outdoor kitchen!
MySpa Derbyshire has dedicated off road customer parking, wheelchair access, and inside has an open plan with at least three hot tubs filled and up and running at any time. Customers are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to wet test certain models and enjoy the full experience with private changing rooms and even a walk in shower to rinse off before and freshen up after a wet test.
An upstairs meeting room, staff kitchen and open plan office space has been popular with the team and new Derby Sales Advisor Simon is on hand to look after all customers who visit the store.
Derbyshire has always been an important area for MySpa and has long been serviced from our Leicestershire home. This new dedicated hot tub showroom in Derby allows us to connect with the local community and better provide our award winning products, service and aftercare to the area.
A full range of chemicals for hot tubs and swim spas, as well as a range of popular filters, aromatherapy crystals, steps, cover lifters and accessories are available in store, and also online at www.myspadirect.co.uk You can place an order from home and either select delivery or collection from the Derby store, where your order will have been prepared ready to collect.
The hot tubs on display are from our own branded Wellness Collection as well as the globally recognised Sundance Spas. Our partnership with Sundance Spas dates back to 1998 and we are proud to be the UK’s largest Sundance retailer, every year since 2012.
MySpa Derbyshire showcases Sundance Spas best selling models from the 680 Series in the form of the Peyton, 780 Bristol and Chelsee, the World Best Selling 880 Series Optima, and now also the 980 Series with our feature display of the Kingston hot tub. The Kingston is the only display of its kind in the UK, and with its stunning contemporary design, unique features and in our opinion, unrivalled performance, it is proving very popular with customers in store. The Sundance Spas Optima, is already a best seller again in the Derbyshire area.
From our Wellness Collection of hot tubs, MySpa Derbyshire’s opening also saw the launch of the Steglitz, a new hot tub for 2022! This powerful 4 seater has a small foot print, but is full depth at 92cm and is our second best selling model in store to date. The Steglitz seats up to four adults and features built in champagne bucket, illuminated drinks holders, backlit water features, interior and exterior LED lighting, combined with full body lounger and the popular deep massage collar seat.
Following the successful launch of MySpa showrooms in Rutland and Cheshire over the last couple of years, MySpa Derbyshire is the perfect location to allow us to better service our new and existing customers. We are all very proud of the store and are very much enjoying welcoming customers new and existing.
